OUR HISTORY

Universal College of Australia Limited (UCAL) ABN 50 163 617 187 was registered as an Australian Public Company limited by guarantee effective from 13 May 2013.  The Australian Taxation Office registered UCAL as a charity and not-for-profit organisation effective from 1 July 2013 May 2013.

The company is committed to exceeding customer expectations; ethical business practice; legislation; compliance with international and national standards (AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 QM, AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004 EM, AS/NZS 4801:2001 OH, AS/NZS ISO 19011:2003 Auditing, AS/NZS ISO 31000:2009 Risk management-Principles and guidelines, 22000-2005 Food Safety, Building Sustainability), core educational business (AQF 2013, AQTF 2007, SNVRRTO 2012), and other requirements for continuous improvement. 

The basis of Universal College of Australia Limited is: 

  1. to authorise the establishment and operation of Universal College of Australia Limited, and the Rayner Scholarship Fund for which is open to individuals or groups of any Australian state/territory; 
  2. a recognition that education unlocks economic survival through personal empowerment; 
  3. the implementation of the values of professionalism, responsiveness, organisation, unity, dedication, environment, safety and training.
